Credentials and Professional Experience
Brittany holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Kennesaw State University. She is currently working toward completing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Brittany currently works with children and adolescents who are suffering from an eating disorder. Previously, Brittany has helped individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses develop coping skills and resources in their community. She worked with individuals who were incarcerated, helping them obtain their GED.
Approach
Brittany provides a supportive environment by incorporating diversity and individualized goal-setting techniques. As a counselor, empathy and genuineness are the fore-front concept she holds with clients and hopes that they are able to accomplish goals that they set for themselves. Brittany integrates tools from cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered therapy, and reality therapy to work with clients on succeeding towards their counseling goals.
