Donna believes in a person centered counseling model that addresses the client and families as unique individuals that require recognition and respect by meeting them where they are in their own process. An eclectic approach to counseling is usually employed, depending on client needs, and may vary from Solution Focused Therapy for clients that need streamlined approach to issues to a Cognitive Behavioral approach with those seeking to change thought patterns and behavior, to interactive Play Therapy with young children and a Family Systems approach to those with familial issues.
