Credentials and Professional Experience
Sarah Guthrie is currently enrolled in the Masters Program of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wake Forest University and is set to graduate May of 2023. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia where she graduated with honors. She majored in Psychology and minored in Human Development with an emphasis on Early Childhood Development. She aims to specialize in play and art therapy.

Sarah focuses on the individuality of her clients and utilizes a client-centered approach and cognitive behavioral therapy. Emphasizing on empathy, goals, open-mindedness, and growth, Sarah aims to help her clients learn about themselves and work towards a thriving lifestyle that suits them best. She has the most experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults but is optimistic about working with all age ranges and members of diverse communities. Sarah values unique perspectives especially when working with neurodivergent clients. She values the therapeutic relationship and seeks to help her clients grow to become the best versions of themselves!
