Credentials and Professional Experience
Skylar holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Liberty University. She is currently working towards her Masters of Art in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling. Skylar currently works with children who have been diagnosed with Autism and other related behavioral disorders. Previously, Skylar has been a volunteer for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA), as well as a Legacy Youth Mentor.
Approach
Skylar implements an integrative approach by accepting her clients in a warm and friendly environment. As a counselor, she encourages her clients to be open and trusting of the emotional and mental process they are going to embark on. Skylar employs an interest in psychoanalysis therapy, behavior therapy and cognitive therapy. She enjoys helping her clients navigate the connection between their inner self and their daily actions.
